As I told Mr. Vines of the Cultural Exchange Department, some weeks ago, I am taking the London Symphony Orchestra to the Hong Kong Arts Festival for ten concerts at the end of February, 1974 and they too would be available for a visit to China. Apparently Mr. Vines is bearing this position in mind.
You may have heard that the Hong Kong Arts Festival was a great success and with Sir Murray MacLehose's strong support we are going on with 1974 and 1975.
