Thank you for your letter HKK 14/17 of 12th
November 1973. The Attorney General is at present considering whether or not to prefer a further charge against under section 10(1)(b) of the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance. If he decides that there are insufficient grounds to prosecute, we will then give further thought to what disciplinary action should be taken against
under Colonial Regulations.
We shall be replying to you separately on the more general issue of retirement in the public interest under CRR 59 and 55.
