Dear Sir,
The introduction of the retrospective principle into British
law is, according to Mr Anthony Royle, "unhealthy".
But this very
principle has been introduced already by the present government in its
Immigration Act. Presumably Mr Royle meant that while the principle
is harmful, only white men need to be protected from its introduction?
I wonder how many more "unhealthy" principles will be introduced into
legislation against coloured citizens during the next few years?
