I said that although I would be very willing to listen, and could act as a channel of communication if she had anything to say, all I could do if she had any new evidence would be to pass it to you. This started her off on an attack on the uselessness of HMG. But after letting off steam for a bit she said she might, if the rail strike permitted, come and see me on the morning of 31 December on her way back to Hong Kong. I will let you know if she does so.
