I was glad to have the opportunity of meeting you in the Office last week. I trust that you will by now have received copies of the Blair-Kerr report which I sent to you the other day through the High Commissioner.
Mr Royle, the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State in charge of Hong Kong affairs, would very much like to have a talk with you before you go out to Hong Kong. I understand that you will be passing through London on your way to Hong Kong, at the end of November. Perhaps you would be good enough to let me know when you are likely to be in London and if possible, to suggest a day when you might be able to call on Mr Royle.
