Execute killer, says dead boy's father

A MAN arrested by Macau police for the alleged brutal murder of an 11- year-old boy should be executed.

The boy's father said this yesterday shortly after Macau police told the Press about the macabre murder.

Kong Bit-fai's father, a restaurant owner, reportedly told relatives ti police should "execute the beast and not to jail him,”

Macau's Deputy police chief Francisco Brito told newsmen a forme: employee of Bit-fai's father had been arrested.

Mr Brito said the 25-year-old suspect had confessed to the killing the motive being revenge because the boy's father had treated him badly.

The policeman said Bit-fai was reported missing last Tuesday, and it was only yesterday morning that they found the badly decomposed body on Penha Hill.

He added that the suspect had allegedly told them he had beaten the buy to death with a large rock and then buried him under thick bushes on the hillside.

At first the suspect appeared to be very calm, but finally broke down yesterday after intensive questioning.
