1. Major Blieth of the Ministry of Defence telephoned to say that he had seen a copy of Hong Kong telegram number 536. The Intelligence side of the Ministry of Defence were interested in the possible security aspects of any public reaction in Hong Kong. They would accordingly be grateful if any future telegrams bearing on this aspect could be copied to DI2. General Wilson, the Deputy Chief of Intelligence, in particular was taking an interest.
