I refer to my telephone conversation with you this morning when I mentioned that I had received from my Firm's Correspondents in Hong Kong a Telex which itself incorporated a Telex which I was asked to communicate to Sir Alec Douglas-
Home.
In accordance with your suggestion, I have had the Telex intended for Sir Alec retyped and I now enclose this document.
I shall be grateful if you will bring the document to Sir Alec's attention as swiftly as possible and also in due course acknowledge safe receipt of this letter.
I should mention that, as requested by my Firm's Correspondents, I am arranging for a 'Telex' in identical form to be delivered today to Mr. Harold Wilson.
Contd.
