The fight violent crime campaign messages are being spread far and wide throughout Hongkong and there are a few people who can be unaware of the campaign and what it is aiming at.
A spokesman for the Campaign Office said nearly 260.000 copies of the leaflet have already been distributed and they have been issued to numerous organisations and Government departments.
Members of the Civil Aid Services are handing them out to the public at ferry piers and kiosks.
At the same time, more than 30,000 copies have been posted to commercial establishments in Hongkong, Kowloon and the New Territories.
He disclosed that about 20.000 copies of the wallsheet explaining "how you can help" to fight crime have been distributed and they have proved so popular that a new supply has had to be ordered to meet public demand.
About 100,000 car stickers and thousands of copies of the leaflet specially prepared for drivers have been on distribution by Civil Aid Services members at various car parks on Saturday mornings.
During the five week "selling" phase of the campaign, four short films have been prepared for television and cinemas while in the "action" phase, which begins on June 17. a new set of posters will be prepared further explaining to the public the different themes of the campaign.
