1. Sir Robin Turton MP has put down a Question for oral answer
on Wednesday 28 November to ask the Secretary of State what
representations he has received from the Hong Kong Government on
the effect upon their trade of the European Economic Community's
Generalised Scheme of Preferences; and what action he is taking.
The Question is expected to be reached.

Sir Robin Turton is Chairman of the Commonwealth Industries
Association and in 1962 opposed Britain's entry into the European
Economic Community. He is likely to concentrate on the damage
