COMMISSION DECISION
of 5 July 1973
autonomously raising the specific ceiling for imports into the Community of certain cotton textiles covered by the Agreement between the EEC and
Hong Kong on trade in cotton textiles
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES,
Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community,
Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 1471/701 of 20 July 1970
establishing a common procedure for the autonomous increase of imports into the Community of products subject to measures of voluntary restraints by exporting countries;
Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 1023/702 of 25 May 1970
establishing a common procedure for administering quantitative quotas, and in particular Article 11 (2) thereof;
Whereas on 22 July 1971 the Community concluded with Hong Kong an Agree-
ment on Trade in Cotton Textiles ;
Whereas that Agreement stipulates that exports of products falling within Group II from Hong Kong to the Community are to be voluntarily restricted to a level agreed between the parties; whereas specific ceilings have been set with the ceiling for Group II products;
