5. Hong Kong's principal competitors are India, Pakistan,
South Korea, Colombia, Yugoslavia, Brazil and Thailand. Of
these only Philippines, Thailand and Yugoslavia have become
beneficiaries for categories (c) and (d) this year. The
inclusion of these countries in the two categories covering
cotton textiles in 1973 could be quoted as a precedent for
trying to obtain the inclusion of Hong Kong.
