I think you would find it interesting to read Part Two of the series of articles published in the Kong Kong General Chamber of Commerce Bulletin on this subject. Part Two is entitled "The Financial Link" and brings out some interesting points in connection with the use by Hong Kong of sterling as a reserve currency.
2. What I think is most interesting is that it‘is left to a bulletin of this nature to bring out points which, in my view, should have been made by the Financial Secretary in the Executive Council.
