Interest on the amefint hereby, secured shall be paid half-yearly, without deduction for United Kingdom taxes present or future. Provider that if this Bond is not prematurely deemed, the rate of interest- shall be per cent per annum.

The Principal of and Interest on this Bond shall be payable in Hong Kong. dollars or, at the option of the Government of Hong Kong, in sterling; and both are phargeable on the National Loans Fund.
This Bond shall not be assigned, pledged or mortgaged.
