Who in
GOVERNOR'S PRIVATE SECRETARY
We were interested to meet Mr John Chan recently. He
seemed very able and his appointment as the Governor's Private
Secretary will obviously be very useful presentationally.
One small point which arises over his appointment is the
question of the handling in Hong Kong of UK EYES ONLY material.
We presume that the Governor is satisfied that material of this
kind will still be given full protection in Government House.
