21st November, 1973
I write to express the Urban Council's sincere
thanks and appreciation for the courtesies extended by you and your staff to its four Members on their recent visit to Britain. That the visit was such a success and the arrangements so satisfactory to these Councillors, is due in no small measure to the imaginative and worthwhile programme prepared by your office.
I should be most grateful if you would convey this expression of the Urban Council's gratitude to the officers concerned, and also to the officials in the Central Office of Information who helped our Members so much.
I hope that opportunity presents itself in the not too distant future for us to reciprocate in Hong Kong some of the kindnesses received.
As
Sir Duncan Watson, KCMG,
Deputy Under-Secretary of State, Foreign & Commonwealth Office,
King Charles Street,
London, SW 1,☐
England.
Yours very sincerely,
Hector Ko..
