The Chairman and leading members of the Heung
Yee Kuk delegation called on Mr Royle on 19 June.
The Chairman said that they had come to Londo
at the invitation of Chinese traders in Britain.
A main preoccupation of the latter was the need to
get more Chinese catering staff for the businesses
established here. Mr Royle replied that there were,
as everyone knew, immigration problems, but if the
Chairman would like to put his views on this
question on paper we would see that they were
considered.
