MEETING WITH THE HEUNG YEE KUK
I submit a draft telegram to Hong Kong reporting the substance
of Mr Royle's talk with the leaders of the Kuk on 19 June. I
think we need to get a record to Hong Kong in this form, as
the Kuk will doubtless give their own version of what has
passed as soon as they get back to Hong Kong. The Governor
and the Acting DC, New Territories should have an authoritative
account in advance.
