I am sure that he would appreciate being shown some attention by the office end, if it were possible, some hospitality from Mr Royle.
has done much in the past year (MTS to one side) to try to help us over contracts and has always been ready to join in discussion lunches with visiting Ministers etc despite his own busy schedule (he attended the lunch I gave for Mr Royle for example).
When he was in UK last time he saw the mock up model of Concorde and was delighted that that was arranged. I know that he would be thrilled if he could now see the real live working version and even more if it
I do not should prove possible for him to have a brief flight in it. promise that he will buy one but he could be a good PR men for it in the area and one can never be sure just how far his tentacles reach. Do you think there is any chance? If possible I would like to tell him before he leaves but that is not important: you could contact him at 15 Grosvenor Square where he will have his base throughout his leave,
Incidentally I have mentioned this to John Weedon of GEC who will elso ask them (Mr T B 0 Kerr) if they could help through their very close connection with the Concorde approach.
Yours
Tom
