PRIME MINISTER'S VISIT TO HONG KONG 12-14 JANUARY 1974
When we spoke on the telephone yesterday about briefing for the visit, I agreed that the contribution on defence should be drafted here rather than in the FCO. I enclose a draft brief which, because there is no specific defence objective to be sought during the visit, is of a background nature.
