PRIME MINISTER'S VISITS to CHINA AND HONG KONG
2-15 January 1974
DATES OF VISITS
1.
(a)

The Prime Minister will leave London on 2 January,
arriving Peking on 4 January; he will visit Kunming on 8/9 January, (?) Kweilin on 10 January and Shanghai
on 11/12 January. He will fly from Shanghai to Hong Kong
on 12 January, leaving Hong Kong on the evening of
14 January, arriving in London on the morning of
15 January.
COMPOSITION OF THE PARTY
The composition of the party is shown at Appendix I.
3. TRAVEL

(a) The Prime Minister will travel to and from China in an
RAF VC 10 (Task No 1111). The flight schedules via Cyprus and Gan, as known at present, are
