MP'S LETTER : MR PATRICK WALL'S VISIT TO TAIWAN AND
HONG KONG
1. Mr Wall wrote to Mr Royle on 6 August asking him
to notify the Hong Kong Government that he would be passing through the Colony later this month. H
leaves for Taiwan on 20 August.

We sent a telegram to Hong Kong informing them
CHK tetgran N=897) of the visit. The Acting Governor has replied jasking
if Mr Wall would like to stay at Government House
whilst he is in Hong Kong. He has also asked if we
would let him know Mr Wall's time of arrival and
departure from Hong Kong.
