Met at Kai Tak airport by H.E. The Governor and minimum party.
Passage to Queen's Pier in "The Lady Maurine". Inspection of Guard of Honour found by the Royal Hong Kong Police Force in Edinburgh Place.
Presentation of about 20 leading personalities.
Quiet dinner at Government House.
It is assumed that the flight will be direct from U.K. and no engagements welcomed on this day.

Visit Headquarters of the Royal Hong Kong Police Force, Arsenal Street.
Unveil a plaque on the new building.
Visit married quarters.
Visit Wan Chai Police Station.
Luncheon at Government House (about 14 guests).
Visit a nursery in a resettlement estate in Kwun Tong.
Visit the Princess Alexandra Red Cross Residential School for the Physically Handicapped at Kwun Tong.
Attend a Review of the Royal Hong Kong Police Force and Auxiliary Police Force at the Government Stadium, and present medals.
Small dinner party with H.E. the Commander British Forces and Lady Ward at Flagstaff House.
Timings are normally from Government House to Government House throughout the programme.
These visits require the use of a helicopter. Without a helicopter the school could not be visited and a nursery in an estate on Hong Kong Island would have to be substituted.
