Visit of HRH Princess Alexandra and the Hon. Angus Ogilvy
to Hong Kong - 21st-26th October 1972

On arrival at Kai Tak Airport the aircraft will taxi to Bay 3 where it will be parked.
HRH will be met at the stops by His Excellency The Governor and Lady MacLehose. HE will then present his Aide-de-Camp, Mr. A.J. Ferrige Royal Hong Kong Police, and the Aido-de-Camp to HH, followed by:-
The Commander British Forces, (H.E. Lieutenant
General Sir Richard Ward, K.C.B., D.S.O., M.C.), and Lady Ward
The Commander Royal Air Force, (Air Commodore C.L. Godwin, A.F.C.), and Mrs. Godwin
The Commissioner of Police, (Mr. C.P. Sutcliffe,
C.B.E., Q.P.M.), and Mrs. Sutcliffe
The Acting Director of Civil Aviation, (Mr.
R.E. Downing), and Mrs. Downing
The Airport General Manager, (Mr. W.J. Morgan),
and Mrs. Morgan
The Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police
Kowloon, (Mr. E.P. Grace, Q.P.M.), and Mrs. Grace
HRH will then proceed to the first car accompanied
by HE.
Mr. Ogilvy will enter the second car with Lady MacLehose and Lady Rowley.
Mr. Keith will be on the box of the first car and Mr. Haigh (RHK Police) on the box of the second car.
The party will then drive along the runway of the airport to Promontory Pier.
On arrival at Promontory Pier HE will present the Acting Director of Marine, Mr. M.J. Alexander, and Mrs. Alexander before they board "The Lady Maurine".
"The Lady Maurine" will proceed up the harbour escorted by H.M.S. BEACHAMPTON and H.M.S. YAINTON.
A 21 Gun Salute will be fired by H.M.S. TAMAR HRH will acknowledge salutes from the foredeck of "The Lady Maurine'
Queen's Pier
On arrival at Queen's Fier HE will step ashore first to assist HRH ashore. They will be followed by the Commissioner of Folice, Lady MacLehose and Mr. Ogilvy. HRH will be escorted to the Saluting Dais by the Com- missioner of Police. HE, Mr. Ogilvy and Lady MacLehose will move to a position to the loft and rear of the saluting dais.
