Repeal and replace- ment of
section 29.
20. Section 29 of the principal Ordinance is repealed
and replaced by the following

"Determination
of cases referred to the Authority under section 18(1)(ii).
29. (1) If, on the hearing of
a case referred to a Board of
Reference by the Authority under
section 21 following a reference of
the case to the Authority by the
Superintendent under paragraph (ii)
of subsection (1) of section 18,
the Board of Reference unanimously
affirms the decision of the
Superintendent, the Board of Reference
may, subject to section 30 -
(a) direct the Superintendent to
remove the name of the seaman
from the register; or
(b) suspend the seaman's
registration for such further
period, not exceeding
twenty-four months, as
it thinks fit.
