DRAFT MERCHANT SHIPPING LEGISLATION
1972.
With reference to Miss Swan's minute of 21 December
2. I support the action proposed in the penultimate paragraph of Miss Swan's minute; namely, that we ad- vise the Hong Kong Government that no objections are foreseen to the proposed amendments, provided the Government is satisfied that obligations incurred in respect of the three relevant IL Conventions are not infringed.
