be greatly facilitated where documents are produced to show that the applicant had -

established a home;

(b)

been employed;

(c)

been educated

in Hong Kong for at least seven years.

Acceptance of Claim

6.

If the claim is accepted the Director of Immigration, Hong Kong, will either authorise the endorsement of the travel document (on the last available page) as follows :

The holder of this travel document has

the right to land in Hong Kong. No visa is required. (Section 8(1), (a), (b) or (c) Immigration Ordinance 55/1971.)

or authorise the renewal or issue of a Hong Kong travel document (para. 3).

Urgent Applications

7.

In cases of urgency, the person should be advised to make application on arrival in Hong Kong. In such circumstances, the normal visa requirements will apply to the visit.
