EXECUTIVE COUNCIL DECISION OF 22.8.72
The Council considered memorandum XCR (72) 166.
The Council ADVI ED and the Acting Governor ORDERED:
(a) that the Urban Council Election (Registration of Electors) (Amendment) Regulations 1972 and the Corrupt and Illegal Fractices (Urban Council Election Expenses) (Amendment) Order 1972 be made;
(b) that the Urban Council (Amendment) (No 2)
Bill 1972 be introduced into the Legislative Council; and
(c) that the Urban Council elections (Procedure)
(Amendment) Regulations 1972 be approved in principle and resubmitted to Honourable Members to be made after the bill has passed into law.
