(i) (i) The Telecommunications Authority may
require a licenseo to demonstrate that
his systems conform to the required
technical standards before permission
is granted for the commencement of
programme transmissions from any transmitter.
(ii) The licensee shall, for this purpose,
and for the purpose of any subsequent
test which the Telecommunications
Authority may consider necessary, provide
adequate equipment and operating staff
to enable such tests to be conducted
fully and completely.
(iii) Test signals providing facilities
equivalent to the details of test
signals which may be inserted during
the field blanking intervals to enable
measurement of the performance of systems
to be made during transmissions and
which are set out in Appendix III of
Code of Practice 3 shall be provided
in all systems.
