(1) (a) The transmission system operated by the
licensee shall be capablo of transmitting
colour television signals in accordance with
the characteristics of the PAL Colour Television
System for CCIR Television Standard I, as
specified in the Sections of Code of Practice 3.
(b) The licensee shall comply with the Appendices
to Code of Practice 3, which contain additional
information concerning the characteristics of
the System, unless the Television Authority
otherwise permits.
(c) The estimated performance figures specified
in Appendix IV of Code of Practice 3 represent
the minimum overall standards which shall be
achioved in all systems.
(2) (a) The licensee shall ensure that the spurious
and harmonic radiations from all transmitter
equipment is maintained at acceptably low levels
in order to provent mutual interference problems
arising.
(b) The licensee shall ensure, in addition,
that the susceptibility of all transmitter
equipment to effects from stray RF fields shall
be kept to the minimum by use of adequate screening.
