11. (1) The licensee shall broadcast one programme
service in the English language and one programme service
in the Chinese language.
(2) Without prejudice to subclause (1), the
licensee may, with the prior approval of the Television
Authority, broadcast any part of its programme services in
both the English and Chinese languages.
12. (1) The licensee shall, in pursuance of section
24 of the Television Ordinance, broadcast such programmes
for schools as may be required by the Television Authority.
(2) The broadcasts required under subclause (1)
13.
(a) shall not exceed four hours per day
unless the Television Authority, after
giving reasonable notice to the licensee,
requires the licensee to broadcast any
such programmes for more than four hours
in any day; and
(b) may be broadcast as part of the English
language programme service unless the
Television Authority otherwise requires.
The licensee shall, if it is directed to do so by
the Television Authority, produce news programmes or items
in conjunction with any other licensee specified by the
Television Authority and shall broadcast any such programme
or item.
