A delegation from Hong Kong will be here
next week for talks about cotton textiles.
The delegation which will be large and
influential will include two of the most senior
members of the Governor's Executive Council (the
local Cabinet). Mr Royle wishes to give lunch
to the delegation at the Dorchester on Monday
10 January.
I enclose a list of the names of those
members of the delegation to whom Mr Royle would
like to extend invitations together with a list of
the other guests whom he would propose to invite.
I should be grateful if you would accept
this lunch as a charge against the Government
Hospitality Fund.
