TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROVISIONS 1972/73

1. As part of the arrangements for establishing the jointFCO/ODA Dependent Territories Division, it was agreed that the Division would be provided with a separate allocation of technical assistance funds in 1972/73. We have accordingly sought provision of £979,000 for this purpose as a separate item in the Regional Technical Assistance subhead in 1972/73 Vote for Overseas Aid (International),
2. The provision has been calculated by extracting the amounts ear- marked for particular dependencies in the estimates previously submitted by the ODA geographical departments concerned. is as follows:-
