1. As you know, Sir Murray MacLenose is planning to come on leave during August and September.
He has now written to me about this and, in accordance with the Dependent Territories Departmental Practice, I have submitted his letter formally to Mr Wilford. A telegram will be going later today approving the Governor's leave.

The purpose of this minute is to draw your attention to the provisions of sub-paragraphs (e) and (f) of paragraph 15 of the Departmental Practice. I should be grateful if you would make a point of
seeing that the necessary arrangements are made.
