Finance
(a) Peking
11 members of the Delegation will be guests of the Chinese Govt and will receive one tenth of the Class A subsistence.
(b) Hong Kong

(i) Those staying at Govt House will receive one-third
of Class rate per night (for tipping purposes). Lady Douglas-Home and Lady Greenhill will receive three quarters of this amount per night.
(ii)
Of those staying at the Mandarin Hotel, Serial Nos. 4, 5, 10, 16, 17, 18 and 19 will receive Class Conference Terms and Serials Nos. 6, 7, 9 and 11, Class B Conference Terms, ie the cost of room, breakfast, service and tax will be paid by HMG and a daily residual allowance of half the appropriate subsistence rate will be paid to each person concerned.
(iii) Subsistence arrangements for Serial 21 will be
notified by the Conference Officer when hotel is known.
