Communications
(a) A 24 hour Cypher watch will be maintained by each
Post during the period of the Secretary of State's
visit
(b) Posts are ensuring that the Private Secretary will
available by telephone throughout,
(c) Mr Grattan will act as Casual Courier for the round
trip.
Security
(a) All classified papers must be returned to the Chancery
confidential registry at night. They must not be left unattended by day; A locked door or cupboard does not provide sufficient security.
(b) Classified papers in use are the responsibility of the
officer concerned and must be taken to and from meetings in a locked despatch box or brief case.
(c) Posts are arranging a safe hand service for the transport
of classified papers between Residences and Chanceries.
Clothing
This has been dealt with in Advance Administrative Arrangements. jackets.

Senior members of the party will require dinner
Entertainment
Posts have been asked to make available a small supply of drink and cigarettes for official Press entertainment by the Head of News Department in his suite.

(a) The Foreign and Commonwealth Office is the Sponsor
Department and all costs will fall to FCS Vote 2A1(SM)
