Press Conference

This will be held in the G.I.S. Theatre on the fifth floor of Beaconsfield House.
Departure from Kai Tak The Foreign Secretary and Lady Douglas-Home
will be seen off by His Excellency the Governor and Lady MacLehose, the Aide-de-Camp, the Colonial Secretary, the Consul-General
of Korea and Mrs. Park, the Director of
Civil Aviation and the Airport General Manager.
PRESS ARRANGEMENTS
Except for the Press Conference to be held in Beaconsfield House on
Tuesday morning, all reporters, photographers, TV and newsreel cameramen and
radio commentators covering the visit will require special accreditation,
which will be in the form of lapel badges. An application form is attached.
This should be completed and returned to the Press Officer, Information Services
Department, NOT LATER THAN 5 p.m. on Thursday, February 10. Press lapel
badges will be ready for collection from the G.I.S. Press Room the next
day.
The following summary of press arrangements is issued to assist
editors in planning reporting and photographic coverage of the visit.

Arrival at Kai Tak
OPEN PRESS on tarmac. Photographers will be positioned by the side of the aircraft steps. Reporters will be accommodated in a position alongside the apron access road. Television and newsreel crews using tripods will be positioned on the roof of the western passenger finger.
