1. We have now prepared the final version of the itinerary for Mr. Royle's visit to the South Pacific and Far East. I attach a copy. You will notice that there have been several amendments since we last produced a plan. This has been necessitated by the introduction of winter time-tables.

2.

Ferhaps you would like to telegraph our posts informing them of what is planned,

3. There are various details of which you should be aware. In Acapulco Mr. Royle and his wife will be staying privately. This Office is making all the necessary arrangements and will inform our post in Mexico City and the Honorary Consul in Acapulco. In Suva Mr. Royle has agreed to stay with our High Commissioner, as he will also do in Tonga. Mr. Royle would not wish to stay with our representative in Sydney but would be glad if you could find out the best and most convenient hotel where he will stay. It would, however, I think, be appropriate if our representative met Mr. Moyle at the airport to see him through Customs etc.

4.

In Hong Kong Mr. Royle will stay with the Governor. It is necessary now on the Hong Kong/ Katmandu leg of the journey to stop off in Bangkok and for convenience Mr. Royle will stay over one day at the Siam Intercontinental Hotel. The Ambassador will of course wish to be aware of Lis presence. In Katmandu Mr. Royle has agreed to stay with the Ambassador. Again for convenience Mr. Royle has asked to stay for a large part of Wednesday, 22 November in Delhi on the return flight. It would be nice if Sir T. Garvey could put him up.

5.

David Logan will not ge going to Acapulco but will join Mr. Royle und nis wife in Suva. He will arrange his travel to Suva direct witn Protocol and Conference Department.
