1. There is to be a guillotine debate on the Counter Inflation (Temporary measures) Bill at 4.p.m. on Tuesday 14 November. The Committee stage of the Bill will continue On Wednesday 15 and Today 16 November and
dresday
on
the final stages will be on Monday 20 November. The Chief Whip has asked for Mr. Royle to be
in the House on these dates.
2. I have double checked that his presence is really necessary and the Chief Whip is
adamant. Mr. Wood who is on a tour of India
has also been recalled.
3. Mr. Royle may care to return from Hong Kong on Monday 13 November. There are direct flights to London at 15.50 hrs, 1920 hrs and 20.00 hrs which would be convenient.
