The appointments of the present members of the Legislative and Executive Councils in Hong Kong ex-
pire on 30 June. In his despatch of 19 May, the
Governor has listed the appointments which he would
like to make with effect from 1 July, and for which
he seeks approval. He has set out in the despatch
