It appears that the Australians cannot consider
any alternatives to June/July and that others so far
in favour of April are not immovably so. You should
therefore inform your australian colleague that HIG
is prepared to accept dates in first week of July for
Council Leeting and make a statement to the same
effect at Council Representatives' Meeting on
15 September. We should like to know soon whether
Australians will accept American preference for
6-7 July.
