7. Mr Wataru Hiraizumi will visit Britain on 9 and 10 September at the invitation of the Department of Trade and Industry. He will have talks with Lord Drumalbyn and Mrs Thatcher.
Visit by a Chinese Minister

We are asking Peking to draw the attention of the
Chinese to the fact that our invitation to Mr Pai Hsiang-kuo, the Minister for Foreign Trade, to visit Britain is still outstanding. Mr Pai intends going to France in October.
