His Excellency the Governor has asked me to thank you on his behalf for your letter dated 9 March addressed to him through the District Commissioner, New Territorics.

I am directed to inform you that is Excellency is of the view that there is nothing to be gained by commenting on the personal opinions of former civil servant who has chosen to resign from the service.

I would like to add that the District Commissioner, New Territories is always glad to discuss any specific matters relating to the administration of the New Territories which the lieung Yee Kul wishes to raise.
