include respectively reference to corresponding particulars
furnished to the Director or to the former immigration officer or te
the former Registrar of Aliens in accordance with the Immigration (Control and Offences) Ordinance or the repealed Immigrants
Control Ordinance or a requirement made under either of those
Ordinances.
Sections 16, 20 & 27(1).
9. Sections 16, 20 and 27(1) shall apply to a person who
before the commencement date has been refused permission to enter Hong Kong under the Immigration (Control and Offences) Ordinance
as they apply to a person who is refused permission to land under
this Ordinance.
Section 16(1)(b).
10. Section 16(1)(b) shall have effect as if it included a
reference to a condition imposed under section 15 of the Immigration (Control and Offences) Ordinance and in force immediately before
the commencement date, being a condition making the same require-
ment as the condition of stay referred to in the said section
16(1)(b); and the provisions of this Ordinance shall apply accor-
dingly.
Section 17(1)(b).
11. Section 17(1)(b) shall have effect as if it included a
reference to a person who has contravened section 3(1)(a)(ii) or (b) of the Immigration (Control and Offences) Ordinance or any
condition imposed under section 15 of the said Ordinance and in
force immediately before the commencement date (whether such
condition was imposed at the time of entry or subsequent thereto), but in whose case an order has not been made under section 43(4)
of the said Ordinance; and the provisions of this Ordinance shall
apply accordingly.
