The amount of supplement allowed would depend
on the original provision in the subhead, as follows :

whichever is the

of $75,000.
(NOTE:
This is identical with the authority delegated
to the Financial Secretary vis-a-vis Government
Estimates).
(b) authority to transfer funds between subheads within
a functional head.
(c) authority to transfer funds from one item to another,
within any one subhead...
(d) authority to transfer funds between subheads in
different functional heads up to 10% of the subhead receiving the transfer.
Major items of equipment. (i.e. "Other charges: Special Expenditure" in the Government Estimates) -
:
(a) authority to supplement the provision for any
iten by up to $75,000, as in (1)(a) above. (b) authority to provide funds for itens included in
the previous budget but not paid for during the currency of that budget, to the amount of the lapsed provision.

NOTE: The intention is that the lower limit for including
items under this subhead (rather than under stores and equipment in "Other Charges Annually Recurrent) should be $5000 instead of the $2000 limit in force
in Government.
