Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and
consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Corporal Punishment
(Amendment) Ordinance 1971.
Addition of new
section 7. (Cap. 222.)
2.
The principal Ordinance is amended by adding after section
6 the following new section
Amendment of Schedule.
"Governor in Council may
amend Schedule.
7 The Governor in Council may, by order
published in the Gazette, amend the Schedule.".

The Schedule to the principal Ordinance is amended in Part
(a) by deleting item 2 and substituting the following
"2. Any offence contrary to section 10 or 12 of
(21 the Theft Ordinance 1970.";
