APPOINTMENT OF JUDGES IN HONG KONG
Concerning announcement of such appointments in
the London Gazette, I have been unable to find out
either anything concrete from people in both the ODA and the FCO (inc. Mr Rushford). Mr Fifoot, who, I am told, would know, is at present on holiday.
2. The only information of any use was provided by Legal Executive Branch, who told me that in the case of Queen's Counsels overseas, announcements used to be
put in the Gazette, but are not any longer. Miss Rennison
who knows more of these matters, is also away at present. 3. Material for inclusion in the Gazetter can be
