*La. Mr. Ben Ford (Bradford, North): To ask the
Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what reports he has received from Hong Kong following Lucy typhoon, what action he proposes to take and if he will make a statement.
I have had a report from Hong Kong that the Colony was not
directly affected by this typhoon which passed to the
North-East of the territory in the middle of the day. There
was very heavy rain and a high wind which caused minor damage
with some flooding. I understand that a few people were
injured.
