comrade beqir balluku gives banquet in honour of chinese military friendship delegation
tirana, august 22 (nsinhua) -- begir balluku, member of the political bureau of the central committee of the albanian party of Labour, vice-chairman of the council of ministers and minister of people's defence, gave a banquet at the central house of armymen here yesterday evening in honour of all members of the military friendship delegation of the people's republic of china with Li teh-sheng, alternate member of the political bureau of the central committee of the communist party of china and director of the general political department of the chinese people's liberation army, as its Leader and tsao li-huai, member of the c.p.c. central committee and deputy commander of the chinese p.l.a. air force, as its deputy Leader.
the banquet was attended by haki toska, member of the political bureau, and secretary, of the central committee of the albanian party of Labour; kadri hazbiu, alternate member of the political bureau of the party central committee and minister of domestic affairs; petrit dume, alternate member of the political bureau of the party central committee and chief of general staff of the albanian people's army; xhafer spahiu, member of the party central committee and vice- chairman of the council of ministers; nesti nase, minister of foreign affairs; thoma deliana, minister of education and culture; Llambi zicishti, minister of health; hito cako, chief of the political department of the people's army; fadil pacrami, secretary of the tirana district committee of the party; sterjo spáse, vice-chairman of the albanian-chinese friendship society; and avni nakani, military attache of the albanian embassy in china.
Liu chen-hua, chinese ambassador to albania, was present on invitation.
chinese engineering and technical workers in albania were also present.
comrade beqir balluku and comrade li teh-sheng delivered speeches at the banquet.
in his speech, comrade beqir balluku, first of all, on behalf of the albanian people, the albanian party of Labour, the albanian government and people's army, extended the most profound militant feelings of friendship to the chinese military friendship delegation.

comrade balluku said: "although albania and china are thousands of kilometres away from each other, our two peoples and armies are bound together by a great friendship and a steel-like unity. they always cooperate and stand on guard together, stand as comrades and co-fighters in the same trench of the

principled struggle against the most reactionary forces of our era, u.s.-Led imperialism and modern revisionism with the brezhnev-kosygin clique at the head, which, as two superpowers, are seeking to dominate the world, to divide the spheres of influence and to suppress with fire and sword the peoples' national-Liberation and revolutionary movements.
"in this great tit-for-tat class struggle, the communist party of china and the albanian party of labour stand in the forefront and support without reserve the revolutionary movements and the national-liberation struggles of the peoples, to which the victory surely belongs.'

comrade balluku pointed out: "the chinese-albanian friendship and cooperation have withstood the tests, have béen and are being tempered and constantly consolidated in the common, noble struggle for the construction of socialism in our countries and for the triumph of the proletarian revolution in the world, that is why there is no force and there will be no force on earth to shake and touch this friendship and solidarity of our two peoples and two marxist-Leninist parties."
he said: "the great chinese people under the Leadership of the communist party and chairman mao tsetung, have won the victory of people's revolution in october 1949 through their protracted valiant struggle and put an end forever to ruthless exploitation, oppression, ignorance and misery. within two decades and more, the great people's cnina made colossal progress in the development of industry, agriculture, science and proletarian culture and in the increase of defensive power. today the people's republic of china, with its correct foreign policy, is a real factor of great importance; without her participation no world problem can be solved."
