albanian ministry of people's defence holds grand meeting in honour of chinese military friendship delegation
tirana, august 22 chsinhua) the albanian ministry of people's defence held a grand meeting at the people's theatre nere yesterday evening to give a rousing welcome to the military friendship delegation of the people's republic of china with li ten-sheng, alternate member of the political bureau of the central committee of the communist party of china and director of the general political department of the chinese people's liberation army, as Leader and tsao ti-huai, member of the c.p.c. central committee and deputy commander of the chinese p.l.a. air force, as deputy Leader. this meeting nas once again fully demonstrated the unbreakable revolutionary friendsnip and militant unity between the two parties, two peoples and two armies of china and albania.
present at the meeting were kadri nazbiu, alternate member of the political bureau of the central committee of the albanian party of Labour and minister of domestic affairs; petrit dume, alternate member of the political bureau of the party central committee and chief of general staff of the people's army; nito cako, member of the party central committee and chief of the political department of the people's army; thoma deliana, minister of education and culture; rahman perllaku, deputy chief of general staff of the people's army; fadil pacrami, secretary of the tirana district committee of the party of Labour; reiz malile, vice-minister of foreign affairs; sterjo spase, vice-chairman of the albanian-chinese friendship society; and avni hakani, military attache of the albanian embassy in china.
present also were representatives of the commanders and fighters of the albanian people's army garrison in tirana district, functionaries of government institutions, workers of industrial enterprises and mass organizations in the capital. Liu chen-hua, chinese ambassador to albania, staff members of the chinese embassy and representatives of chinese engineering and technical personnel here also attended the meeting.

a huge portrait of comrade enver hoxha, the great leader of the albanian people, and a huge portrait of chairman mao tsetung, the great leader of the chinese people, were hung on the backdrop of the rostrum; and there was a slogan reading: "Long Live the fraternal militant friendship between the albanian and chinese peoples and armies exclamation" streamers in the hall were inscribed with the following slogans: "Long live the central committee of the albanian party of Labour headed by comrade enver hoxha exclamation" and "Long Live the communist party of china headed by comrade mao tsetung exclamation"

as comrade li teh-sheng, comrade tsao li-huai and other members of the chinese delegation entered the meeting hall accompanied by comrade petrit dume and comrade kadri hazbiu, all present stood up, warmly applauded and cheered: "enver- mao tsetung exclamation" and "people's china exclamation"
the meeting was presided over by comrade petrit dume. after he declared the meeting open, comrade hito cako and comrade li teh-sheng addressed the meeting.
in his speech, comrade nito cako said: "just as we welcomed dear friends from the people's china of mao tsetung on other occasions, all of us are glad and proud today. this is the feeling of indestructible fraternal revolutionary friendship between albania and china. this friendship has been created and steeled by our two marxist-Leninist parties and our two great Leaders, comrade mao tsetung and comrade enver hoxha, in the great ́struggle for the cause of socialism and the victory of marxism-leninism, for smashing u.s. imperialism, khrushchov revisionism and their running dogs, and for the victory of world proletarian revolution. wherever they went, at production units, party, government and other establishments or army units, the comrades of the military friendship delegation of the people's republic of china felt personally the love and respect for the chinese people, the communist party of china, the chinese people's liberation army and comrade mao tsetung expressed in the finest words and feelings by the masses of workers, peasants and soldiers."
comrade hito cako went on, "the visit of the chinese military delegation to our country embodies the steady consolidation and development of albanian-chinese friendship which is becoming closer daily."
he said: "the great people's china is triumphantly forging ahead along the road of socialist revolution and socialist construction and winning one brilliant victory after another in all fields of life."
he said, "while achieving these historic victories, the people's republic of china has unprecedentedly strengthened her defence capability, and the people's army of the proletariat has been further steeled ideologically and militarily."
he added, "as a deep-going political and ideological revolution under the condition of the dictatorship of the proletariat, the great proletarian cultural revolution has given a rapid and powerful new push to the development of china's socialist revolution and socialist construction.
